Breastfeeding in winter

After the last couple of unusually long, cold, and snowy winters here in the UK, many of us aren't looking forward to the end of autumn and the beginning of the chilly season. This one is expected to be just as tough, with the snow starting even earlier this time around. The usual solution is to insulate the windows and bundle up in warm clothes, but that can make breastfeeding a little tricky.

Nobody likes to feel the wintery chill on bare skin, but those mums that really want to breastfeed don't have to suffer. With the right nursing clothes it is possible to stay snug and feed your little one at the same time. Naturally, we're here to help.

At Bella Mama, we believe breastfeeding should be made as easy and as comfortable as possible. That means seeking out the best and most innovative breastfeeding tops, dresses, bras, and more. If it's gorgeous, discreet, and well-designed we want to stock it for our wonderful mamas. And because our business is run by a mum, for mums, we understand exactly what makes good nursing clothes. There are stylish, functional choices to suit any and every new mother.

We stock a whole range of excellent breastfeeding tops that will let your baby feed without exposing more than necessary, stretching your clothing, or feeling awkward. They work just as well in winter as they do in summer, but it's even more important to have the right clothing when breastfeeding in the cold!
